Lleverage vs Claude Code: build your own agent or run ours

Anthropic's coding agent, for teams that build their own, next to AI agents that run your back office, set up with our engineers.

Claude Code vs Lleverage, side by side

We read Anthropic's own pages on 17 October 2026: the Claude Code product page and the Claude Code documentation on its overview, security and the Agent SDK. Where Anthropic does not describe something, the table says so. What Lleverage does comes from our AI agents and order management pages.

When each one fits

Claude Code is a tool for developers to build with. Lleverage is the agent that does the back-office work, with engineers who set it up. The choice is mostly about who you want to own the agent.

Claude Code

When Claude Code fits

  • The work is software: features, bug fixes, tests and migrations in a codebase.
  • You have developers who want to build and own an agent in their own code, with the Agent SDK.
  • Your team is ready to write and maintain the connections to your ERP, your inbox and your approval rules.
  • You want an agent in the terminal, the IDE and your pull requests.
Lleverage

When Lleverage fits

  • The work is orders, invoices and customer questions, arriving in every customer's and supplier's own format.
  • Nobody in house should become the owner of a home-built agent and its ERP connection.
  • Your team should hand the agent a job in Teams, Slack or the shared inbox, not in a terminal.
  • You want approvals, an audit trail and a company brain from day one, with engineers who stay on.

Governance & security, built in.

AI that acts in your operations has to be accountable. Approvals, permissions and a full audit trail are part of the platform: hosted in Europe, compliant by design, and your data always yours.

What you get without building it yourself

A back-office agent your developers build needs each of these parts too. Lleverage brings them ready, for the order desk and for finance.

  1. 01

A whole job, briefed in your words

Order entry, invoice matching or customer questions, handed over in Teams, Slack or the inbox. No prompt to maintain and no template to fill in.

  2. 02

Every customer's order, read as it comes

A spreadsheet, a PDF or a line in an email, checked against items, prices and stock before the sales order is created in your ERP.

  3. 03

Invoices matched before finance sees them

Each line checked against the purchase order and the goods receipt. Only the lines outside your tolerance reach a person.

  4. 04

A line that only you move

Start with suggestions, move to approvals, let it run alone where you trust it. Every decision is logged against the record it touched.

  5. 05

    Corrections that become company knowledge

Fix it the way you would correct a colleague. The correction goes into the company brain, held on your side and never used to train anyone else's model.

  6. 06

    Engineers who know your floor

Forward deployed engineers build the first queue with your team, set the confidence line together and stay on for the queues after it.

“It takes significantly more time and we see many more mistakes from sales staff not using the Lleverage Volume Calculation tool. So now we gave everyone a seat on the platform and made it mandatory. Every new quote goes through it now.”

Claude Code vs Lleverage: questions

What is the difference between Claude Code and Lleverage?

Claude Code is Anthropic's AI coding agent: it reads a codebase, edits files, runs commands and opens pull requests for developers. Lleverage is a platform of AI agents for the back office: they take orders, invoices and customer questions off the desk and write the result into your ERP, with approvals you set.

Can I build a back-office AI agent with Claude Code?

Your developers can. Anthropic's Agent SDK gives them the tools and permissions behind Claude Code, in Python and TypeScript. They then own the rest: the ERP connection, reading every customer's document, the approval rules, the audit trail and the upkeep. Lleverage brings those parts ready, with forward deployed engineers who set them up with you.

Does Claude Code connect to SAP or Business Central?

Anthropic's pages describe no ERP connection for Claude Code. It connects to outside tools through MCP servers, which your team adds or writes. Lleverage reads and writes in SAP, Business Central, Dynamics 365 F&O, Exact, AFAS and Infor, with roles and scopes per connection, and is SAP-certified.

When is Claude Code the better choice?

When the work is software. Claude Code fixes bugs, writes tests, runs migrations and turns issues into pull requests, in the terminal, the IDE or the browser. A team of developers who want to build and own their own agents in code gets a great deal from it. We think Lleverage is the better fit for the order desk.

Can we use Claude Code and Lleverage together?

Yes. They do different jobs. Your developers can keep Claude Code for your own software, while Lleverage runs orders, invoices and customer questions for the back office. Your ERP stays the system of record, and turning the Lleverage agent off leaves your systems exactly as they were the day before.
