Lleverage vs Esker: AI agents for orders and invoices
Esker's suite for the Office of the CFO next to AI agents that take orders and invoices off your operations team, in your ERP.
“We’ve been around for 130 years, but heritage doesn’t keep you ahead. You have to keep improving and driving operational excellence. That’s why we chose Lleverage to provide AI driven solutions around Customer Support, Accounts Receivable, and Invoice Processing. The results speak for themselves and I’d recommend them to anyone.”

Esker vs Lleverage, side by side
We read Esker's own pages on 13 October 2026: its homepage, Order Management, Accounts Payable, Synergy AI agents and Multi-ERP Integration. Where Esker does not describe something, the table says so. What Lleverage does comes from our AI agents, order management and accounts payable pages.

When each one fits
Both put AI agents on orders and invoices. The difference is whose desk they sit on, and how much of the work outside finance they take on.
When Esker fits
- The project belongs to the CFO and spans sourcing, contracts, procurement, AP, credit and collections on one platform.
- Your customers want to order through a portal, punchout or a mobile app, with an AI agent answering them around the clock.
- Documents arrive in dozens of languages across many countries, and e-invoicing mandates have to be met in each.
- Your ERP is SAP, Oracle, Microsoft or Sage, and your IT team or a partner owns the integration.
When Lleverage fits
- The same operations team takes the orders, plans the production and sends the shipping papers.
- You run Business Central, Exact, AFAS or Ridder iQ, or an older system with no API at all.
- You want engineers who build the first flow with your desk on your own customers' orders, and stay on.
- You want one agent your team briefs in Teams or the inbox, keeping every correction as knowledge you own.

What the agent takes off an operations team
Esker is built around the finance function. These are the jobs Lleverage does for the people who also run the floor, written from our live pages.

- 01
Owns a whole job, not a step
Order entry, invoice matching or customer questions, handed over in your own words. When it stops, a person picks up with the documents and its reasoning attached.
- 02
Creates the sales order and confirms it
A spreadsheet in the shared inbox becomes a validated sales order in your ERP, and the confirmation goes back once the ERP accepts it.
- 03
Books the invoices that agree
Price, quantity and cost centre checked against the order and the goods receipt. Payments are applied to what they settle, and overdue customers are reminded on the due date.
- 04
Replans the week
A forecast from the order book, every order put on a line and shift that can take it, and a new plan when a rush order or a machine breaks the old one.
- 05
Draws the shipping papers
Packing lists, CMRs and certificates of origin that agree with each other, and where-is-my-order questions answered from the live record.
- 06
Works in the systems you kept
The AS/400 green screen, the database on your own server, the portal with only a login. Turn the agent off and they are exactly as they were.
From the teams running it

“We started with automating our order intake process, we’re saving about 4 FTE with that solution. Now we’ve got a full roadmap towards automating our full back-office. All with Lleverage.”
Mart KruidenierKoninklijke Dekker
“I used to spend 30 to 60 minutes matching each purchase order to the right treatment process from 800 aerospace specifications. Now I run every single one through Lleverage. 95% is perfect. It’s been a game changer.”
Grant RileySPL Treatments
“It takes significantly more time and we see many more mistakes from sales staff not using the Lleverage Volume Calculation tool. So now we gave everyone a seat on the platform and made it mandatory. Every new quote goes through it now.”

Esker vs Lleverage: questions
What is the difference between Esker and Lleverage?
Esker is a cloud suite for the Office of the CFO, covering source-to-pay and order-to-cash, with Synergy AI agents built into it. Lleverage gives the operations back office AI agents that create sales orders and match invoices in your own ERP, and also plan production, keep master data in step and draw up shipping papers.
Are Esker's Synergy AI agents the same as Lleverage's AI agents?
Both are called agents and both keep people on the decisions. Esker describes Synergy AI Agents as an intelligence layer embedded across its own Office of the CFO suite. A Lleverage agent takes on a whole job in your ERP, such as order entry, and hands it back to a person with its reasoning attached when it stops.
Which ERPs do Esker and Lleverage work with?
Esker names pre-built connectors for SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and Sage, and partner integrations for QAD, Epicor Prophet 21, JD Edwards and NetSuite. Lleverage is SAP-certified and works in SAP, Business Central, Dynamics 365 F&O, Exact, AFAS, Infor and Ridder iQ, and in older systems with no API.
When is Esker the better choice?
When the CFO wants one platform for sourcing, contracts, AP, credit and collections, when customers order through a portal or punchout, or when e-invoicing has to comply in many countries. Esker reads more than 130 document languages and runs a 24/7 customer AI agent. We think it does that part well.
Can we use Esker and Lleverage together?
Yes. Your ERP stays the system of record for both, and Lleverage copies nothing into a second database. A company can keep Esker in finance for e-invoicing and supplier payments, and run Lleverage on the order desk, the production plan and the shipping papers that the finance suite does not cover.
