Power AutomateLleverage vs Power Automate: AI agents or automation flows
Microsoft's low-code flows and RPA next to AI agents that do the back-office work, set up with our engineers.
“We had four and a half people · about 3.8 full-time equivalents · sitting there all day long, manually entering every single order into our Business Central ERP.”

Power Automate vs Lleverage, side by side
We read Microsoft's own pages on 20 October 2026: the Power Automate product page and the AI Builder documentation for its model types, invoice processing and the feedback loop. The Lleverage column covers our automation platform and our order management solution.
| Capability | Power Automate | |
|---|---|---|
| Native in Microsoft 365Teams, Excel and SharePoint | Works in Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, with the permissions your team already has | Native experiences in Microsoft 365 |
| Ready-made connectorsTo move data between cloud apps | ERPs, mail, chat and service desks, connected by our engineers during delivery | More than 1,400 prebuilt, certified connectors, plus custom ones |
| Desktop automation for older systemsScreens with no API | The AS/400, the on-prem database, the portal with only a login | Attended and unattended desktop flows (RPA) |
| Orders and invoices in any layoutEmail, PDF and spreadsheets | Read and checked against your master data | The prebuilt invoice model, or one custom document processing model your makers train with a collection of samples per layout, inside a flow you build |
| Who builds the automation | Forward deployed engineers, with your team | Your own makers, in low-code or with Copilot in natural language |
| ExceptionsWhat happens when a document does not fit | A confidence line per process; below it a person decides, with the reason attached | Work queues and exception handling in the flows you build |
| Learns from corrections | Every correction kept as company knowledge you can read and export | In preview, a flow can save low-confidence documents so your makers tag them and retrain a custom document processing model |
| Task and process miningFinding what to automate next | Coming soon | Yes |
| Governance | Thresholds, approvals, role-based permissions and a full audit trail | Managed Environments, data loss prevention and live monitoring |
| Built for | The back office of companies that make, move and sell physical products | Any process, in any department, across the enterprise |
When each one fits
Power Automate runs the steps a maker defined. Lleverage reads the document first and decides what it means before anything is written into the ERP.
Power AutomateWhen Power Automate fits
- The process is rule-based and the input is structured: the same form, the same fields, every time.
- You run Microsoft 365 and have makers in house who build and maintain the flows.
- You need one of its connectors to move data between cloud apps.
- You want to automate clicks in a desktop app, attended or in the background.
When Lleverage fits
- Orders and invoices arrive as emails, PDFs and spreadsheets, in every customer's and supplier's own layout.
- The checks need judgement: contract prices, stock and delivered quantities against what was ordered.
- You would rather not maintain a library of flows: our engineers build the first agent with your team and stay on.
- You want one agent across orders, invoices and customer questions, learning from every correction.
Governance & security, built in.
AI that acts in your operations has to be accountable. Approvals, permissions and a full audit trail are part of the platform: hosted in Europe, compliant by design, and your data always yours.

What the agent does that a flow does not
The work Lleverage takes off the desk in the back office.

- 01
Reads every customer's own order
A spreadsheet in the shared inbox, a PDF from a portal, a line in an email. Each one is checked against items, prices and stock before the sales order is created.
- 02
Matches invoices three ways
Price, quantity and cost centre, against the purchase order and the goods receipt. Finance sees only the lines that disagree.
- 03
Stops at a line you set
Every process runs at a threshold only you move, and below it a person decides.
- 04
Remembers what your team corrects
A fix on one order teaches it that customer and that part, and a person confirms before a correction becomes a rule.
- 05
Asks in the channel you already use
Approvals and questions land in Teams, Slack or the inbox, routed by value, category and delegation.
- 06
Leaves your ERP as it was
Nothing is migrated. Turn the agent off and your systems are exactly as they were the day before.
From the teams running it
“We’re constantly looking for ways to ensure we can last another 100 years and further improve our service and quality.”

“It’s a matter of building trust in the organisation with these kinds of initiatives. You can’t just throw something like this over the fence.”
Cees MaaskantXpol
“90% of things are correct within a result. It feels a bit negative to give it a thumbs down.”

Power Automate vs Lleverage: questions
Is Lleverage built on Power Automate?
No. Lleverage is its own platform with its own AI agents. It works next to Microsoft 365, in Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, and writes the work into your ERP through its own connection. Flows you already run in Power Automate can stay where they are.
Can Power Automate process orders from PDF and email?
Partly. AI Builder's prebuilt models cover documents such as invoices and receipts, and for your customers' own order layouts your makers train one custom document processing model, with at least five sample documents per layout. Checking every line against prices and stock and routing the exceptions is logic your makers build into the flow.
When is Power Automate enough?
When the process is rule-based, the input is structured and someone in your team owns the flows. Moving a form into SharePoint, syncing two cloud apps through one of its connectors, or clicking through a desktop app on a schedule are jobs Power Automate does well inside Microsoft 365.
Can we use Power Automate and Lleverage together?
Yes. Lleverage works in the same Outlook, Teams and SharePoint your flows use, and your ERP stays the system of record for both. Keep the flows that already move your structured data, and give the agent the documents and the exceptions.
Who builds and maintains the automation?
With Power Automate, your own makers build and maintain each flow. With Lleverage, forward deployed engineers build the first agent with your team, set the confidence line together and stay on as your customers and products change. Your team can build on the same platform too.
